o Christmas tree | {a holiday story} | st louis lifestyle photographer

there are few things that i enjoy more than a real Christmas tree. combine them with a frothy cup of cheer, & you’ve got one of my most favorite sessions ever! my sister & brother in law were kind enough to join me at Eckert’s Christmas Tree Farm for a quick holiday session! the whole Eckert’s experience is one i encourage everyone to try-with the scent of pine in the air, we rode over to the farm and were left to select & cut down our own tree {or in our case, pick the most photogenic to be a part of our session} and when we were done, we simply rode right back to the main Eckert’s campus in a rather holly & jolly spirit. Despite it being a beautiful day, we snuggled in a handmade quilt and sipped on cups of cheer during the session and ended up with some gorgeous, timeless images that i am thrilled to share 😀 they were even patient enough to let me shoot a roll of film while we were there, and you’ll notice i posted some of those as well! A huge thank you to Kate, Jake, & Eckert’s for this lovely ‘reason for the season’ session 😀
