home is wherever i am with you | st louis family photographer

this family will likely look familiar to you, as i’ve photographed them at many milestones. i captured both of their bebe’s newborn, 6MO, and 12MO sessions. i’ve done a handful of mommy + me sessions and this mama even let me photograph her breastfeeding her oldest child. to say we ‘go way back’ is a bit of an understatement. this time, we got together to celebrate the closing of one life chapter amidst the beginning of another. they had sold their house + wanted one last in home session to remember their life in their first family home. and so that is exactly what we did. we floated from room to room, chatting all the while about all the memories that were held within the four walls of whatever room we were in. we snuggled, we giggled, and we even stepped outside to snag some photos on their beloved front porch. i hope that in the years to come, this family can treasure this session + all of the memories that this house provided for them. i know i truly treasured it myself.
