FEBRUARY RECAP

Whew! For being the shortest month of the year, we sure packed a TON into February. In a way, I don’t even know where to begin so I suppose I’ll just dive right in!

Our renovation came to a 99.9% end at the beginning of 2022 but it wasn’t until THIS MONTH that we finally got a backsplash installed to complete the kitchen! I can’t even believe how good it looks and it’s of course got me itching to tackle the next project…our mantle. But check out this before and after to see how the backsplash really dressed up the whole wall!

I’m also really thrilled to share a new collaboration! If you haven’t heard of Polished Prints, stop your scroll and head on over! It’s a brand built by a local mama of 3 who designs the coziest organic cotton tees you’ll ever touch. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Leah, and I’ve been living in her clothes all month! Better yet-my kids have also been sporting the goods! She’s got matching items for you + your kiddos, THE best mom crop (trust me, you need one…or two) and crews that are perfect to wear all year ’round. She shared an exclusive code with me just for YOU so when you load up your cart, use code KELSIBAILEY to save $$$.

Our CHIEFS CHIEFS CHIEFS won the Super Bowl but instead of buying new shirts for the kids to wear for the occasion, I decided to bring them back to my high school days and show the magic of making shirts. They had so much fun + turned out SO great…plus, it was really fun to bring home a winner!

Believe it or not, cubby turned THREE! Our beloved boy had a day full of celebrating which included a trip to target, lunch with dad, and an evening home with me while Chris and the girls attended their father daughter dance! Don’t worry, we made up for it with a simple little party on his birthday weekend! The girls in their father daughter dresses are just too sweet not to post…I think Harper would still be twirling her dress around the living room if I’d have let her 😀

WHEW! Aside from that, we just tried to savor all of the moments big and small. We shopped for Harper’s first communion dress, we rode bikes and cruised on scooters, we visited the STL Foundry and are now anxiously awaiting the spring weather! P.S. I also had the amazing opportunity to photograph Aurora’s kinder classmates in an heirloom style portrait and I am thrilled with how they turned out-eeep!! Anywho, I hope your February days were full of bliss too! Until next month…xo
