Boy am I glad we got this session in! It was so much back and forth trying to decide where to do the session, what day, what time, etc. because I *know* how busy schedules are! In the end, we decided to do them in their new family home and we ALL know I was a huge fan of that decision! Mom wanted to capture the chapter of their lives that they’re in right now and I thought that was a beautiful reason to schedule a session.

In home sessions are so beautiful because, frankly, only THEIR in home photos will look this way. Their house, their light, their furniture, their light fixtures…all of that becomes a part of the story and I love to tell it! We bopped around from the living room, to the kitchen, the front porch, the back porch…heck, we even spent a fair amount of time right under the kitchen table!

And it was worth it! I am so thrilled with the emotions that these photos evoke and I know that they will treasure this chapter in their lives as a sweet one…and they’ll always have these photos to remember how it felt to be right here, right now.
