mommy + me on film | st louis family photographer

i’ve been shooting a roll or two of film at all of my sessions but i decided to shoot an entire roll of my sister + nephew and leave my digital camera AT HOME a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t sure how many ‘good’ images we’d have or that we’d even have any at all. but, upon opening my scans i bursted with joy! watching a mama bond with her bebe is one of my most favorite things to do. my favorite images always come from a mama just sitting with her little one. the moments are so fleeting but when they’re captured in a photograph they live on for ever + ever. so i really have to thank my sister for allowing me into her routine for a late morning session + for being open to doing it all on film. i hope it was as magical for her as it was for me.
