a morning in the city | st louis family photographer

i met this family a year ago when their sweet little girl was born. we did her in home newborn session + i fell in love with all of them! to say i was excited when they booked their family session this fall was an understatement. my absolute favorite part of being a st louis family photographer is the honor of photographing families annually. oftentimes they turn into friends and when i meet them for their session, it’s just like catching up with old friends. this family is no exception. we even strolled into the coffee shop after our session just to chat for a few minutes longer. what i told them at the end of their session, i tell to everyone who goes through the whirlwind of family sessions with small children; ‘the best thing about a picture is that it never changes,even when the people in it do.’
