A PERFECT LOVE DAY | O’FALLON FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

THE way to my heart is an in home session and this one was such a treat (pun intended!) This family is enrolled in The Membership and they decided to combine their kiddos birthday portrait sessions since their birthdays fall within the same season. When mom mentioned making Valentine’s Day cookies as part of their session, I was ALL IN (especially since I just wrote all about in home session inspo in my latest blog post which you can check out here)!

Photographing kids in their own space is so authentic and it always brings out the biggest smiles. I love that we captured each kiddo separately and then gave the kids space to play and in doing so we captured some sweet sibling magic. Then it was onto cookie baking and gosh I can’t even put into words how much fun it was! There was flour and sprinkles and baking lessons and ‘Alexa set a timer for 8 minutes’ and so much goodness in-between. The thing about doing something fun during in home sessions is that it allows us to get creative and capture something extraordinary and so unique to you and your family. The memories made during these types of sessions are second to none and I can already see all of their favorites images in a book on one of the shelves of their home just waiting to be flipped through again and again. It was an absolute delight to be invited into this family’s home to capture such an intimate and special session and I am so excited to share it ON Valentine’s Day as a treat for all of you!
