A WINTER AFTERNOON | O’FALLON FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

I am always game for hanging out downtown. Downtown O’Fallon is just so darn cute + charming and when it comes to the holidays, it’s hard to beat a red caboose! I also love that we can walk a few blocks or hop in our cars to explore different textures and backgrounds.

After all of our correspondence, I was so excited to finally meet this family in real life! In their questionnaire they shared such special Saturday family traditions and it was fun to capture some of that magic and bring it into their session! Their little boy had a ball playing around the caboose and after straying a smidge, we ended up circling back to the caboose because it was so fitting for their session! We even stowed the kiddos in the car at the end and had mom and dad snuggle a bit. Wedding photos are SO special but there is also something sweet + intimate about capturing just mom and dad during different chapters of their marriage. We wrapped it up just in the nick of time-it was indeed a winter afternoon but it was an absolutely delightful one!
