world, meet one of the sweetest families of all time. i felt right at home the instant i walked through their front door. i met this sweet gal + her family on a cold, wet, autumn morning so it was easy to snuggle her in and easy for her family to snuggle with her! as a bebe girl with two older brothers, i have no doubt that their love affair with her has just begun. in fact, her big brothers couldn’t hardly keep their smooches away! and who can blame them-i mean, look at her sweet face! anyway, she as a joy to photograph from start to finish. as her mama + i got to chatting, i found that she is an enthusiastic hobby photographer! my favorite kind of mama! we got swept away chatting about light + cameras, lenses, reflectors, shoot, i think we even talked about editing. being a newborn photographer in aviston is such a blessing because the folks there are so kind. y’all know how much i love chatting about photography anyway-chatting with a mama with a brand new bebe about photography just fills my happy cup right up!

i love that we used lots of different areas in their home. her beautiful nursery had the girliest charm + whimsy so it felt natural to do most of her portraits there. we started family photos in their living area and then ended all snuggled together in the master bedroom. so often, my clients express concern about their house being ‘too small’ or ‘too dark’ or ‘not cute enough’ but that’s hardly true. every home is beautiful because of the family in it. i can’t thank this family enough for inviting me into their home to capture their first professional moments as a family of five. she was the most perfect bebe + we had the most perfect cold, wet, autumn morning.
