SHARING CAKE WITH SIS | O’FALLON FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

Yeesh-the day before this session, we made an emergency location change from outside to the studio but the morning of the session, it was SO DARK outside that even I was worried about the natural light! Luckily, Mother Nature gave us exactly what we needed to illuminate their session and it ended up as 12 month session perfection.

We were all encouraged to bounce through the session in a timely manner because big brother was on a mission-if he smiled…he got to help sis eat her cake 🙂 It turned the session into a game and, let’s be honest, is there a better way to photograph a young family?! In fact, maybe all sessions with toddlers should require cake at the end. Just a thought.

That in mind, we grabbed everything we needed (and then some) and, as promised, we arrived at cake eating time! Big brother was so patient while sis nibbled and I LOVED the kindness he showed by helping sis use her fork to grab even more cake when he was finally allowed to dive in. I am certain that this family is going to have the BEST summer with their two cuties in tow!
