SIS SMASHES A CAKE | O’FALLON FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

This session was a family affair and I am HERE for that! Dad snuck over after a meeting and big brother helped me with the cake cleanup so all in all, it was a great day for a sissy celebration!

Little sis is mobile and whew she is BUSY! We used all of our best tricks to grab playful images and we nailed it! I mean, what is the point of celebrating life’s busiest chapter without photos that embrace the blissful chaos?! I LOVE that she walked and danced and giggled and that we were merely along for the ride.

It was a totally different story though once we brought out the cake. She stoppered in her tracks and got really curious about ALL of it (except the topper which is funny, considering). She couldn’t get through the frosting fast enough to see what was underneath and once she discovered there was cake underneath, she took turns munching a fist full of cake and then a fist full of frosting. She’s my kinda gal 😀

Big brother was super concerned about the mess she was making and he jumped right in to tidy things up! It was honestly one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. Somehow we packed all of the cuteness into less than an hour (I know, I’m still shocked myself) but there are few better ways to spend an hour if you ask me.
